Each year, hair color trends change. We see them popping up on catwalks, in magazines, and eventually on the streets. 2021 is sure to be the year of bold colors, as more fashionistas set out to make a statement. If you're looking for ideas, here are 2021's hottest hair color trends.
 

Fire Engine Red

In stark contrast to natural hues, bright red makes an extremely bold statement. The color looks flawless on all skin tones, creating an instant warm and sultry aura. Fire engine red has a multi-tonal look that dances with the sun, creating fire-like movement with each step. Pairing this color with any hairstyle or length makes for instant pizazz.
 

Multicolored Ombre

The ombre hair color trend has been around for a while, inspired by the natural highlights in sun-kissed hair. But in 2021, a frenzy of colorful ombres is quickly gaining popularity, taking the classic ombre to the next level.
 
Colorful ombres, like the purply pink one above, create the same fading effect that ombre hair is famous for but incorporate multiple fun tones for a more playful look. Try pairing this hair color with long beachy waves, a short cut, or tight curls – either way, multicolored ombre hair is sure to make a statement.  
 

Rainbow Hair 

Sometimes, it's not enough to go with just one bold color, which is why rainbow hair is on-trend. Getting creative with colors and blending patterns creates fun and unique hair color combos sure to command stares. Creating a unique color combo, like the blue, purple, and pink one above, may have been too wild in previous years, but it's all the rage in 2021!
 

Platinum Blonde

We've heard the old saying "blondes have more fun," and with this goldilocks-inspired tone, it might be true! Platinum blond pairs well with all of the hottest styles and transitions seamlessly from season to season. The color requires the expertise of a professional and a ton of upkeep but, it's totally worth it.

Classic Brunette

On our list of 2021's hottest hair color trends is another classic: brunette. Who says that bold hair has to be light or colorful? A head full of dark, shiny hair has the power to turn heads, looking fierce, classy, and sexy. The color has a way of adding a bit of class to every look. Plus, it looks great, no matter the season.  
 
Going brunette is extremely easy, being that it's so dark. So, if you're up for an at-home coloring session, consider giving brunette a try!
